Who is this course on artificial intelligence and robot medicine for?
This course is appropriate for anyone interested in MedTech and product design. It may be of particular interest to undergraduate students studying engineering, product design, and healthcare-related disciplines, but also to professionals working in the healthcare sector in a medical capacity or as MedTech designers. In this 2-week, 5-hour weekly course, led by Shane Xie as an instructor and professor, you will learn why regulations are essential for the safe use of robots and artificial intelligence in healthcare, and understand the process of bringing a successful product to market.
You’ll also explore how artificial intelligence is used in surgical procedures, to improve precision diagnoses, in exoskeleton technology, and even for patient care.
